AretéIn-House Product Description

We share your goal of maximizing your staff utilization.  AretéStaffTM with the AretéIn-House scheduling module was designed to do just that.

Your census and patient acuity defines the needed service area (SA) FTE's by category, shift and day of week.  This information defines the staffing standards on each SA.

Your employees can enjoy a scheduling pattern for convenience and consistency.  AretéIn-House automatically assigns employees to their designated SA.  The excess or deficit staffing is automatically defined, staff schedules adjusted and then submitted to the web via AretéStaffNetTM.  Employees can access your web site to request scheduling preferences or changes, print their schedules and enter availability for additional work.

After assigning full time, part time and contract staff, open orders are offered to the flex pool.  These orders are available via AretéStaffNetTM to approved pool members.

Email and telephone augment the communication process.  Each communication can be easily recorded for management purposes.  The open orders remaining after assigning and confirming flex pool members, are now available to your prime vendor(s).

These open orders are released via the web to the prime vendor(s).  The timing of the release to different agencies can be set by default.  After the prime vendor(s) assign and confirm employees, the remaining open orders are released via AretéStaffNetTM.  Should more than one agency or nurse request assignment to an open order, you can select among the candidates.  An email is automatically sent to the assigned personnel, and emails are sent thanking the non-selected and inviting them to review your existing open orders for consideration and immediate assignment.

These confirmed schedules automatically become timesheets one minute after the starting time.  Any service area can immediately view a screen identifying which staff should be on duty at any time.  The SA supervisor can adjust the time agency staff actually attended and check approval.  These records constitute an electronic timecard.  Of course, the bill rate is attached to the schedule, so you know in real time the actual cost of supplemental staffing, the bill rate, which units are requesting staff, and which agencies that are canceling or filling your shifts.  Quick displays and extensive reporting capability puts you in control and immediately informed about your staffing status.  This is the end of staffing surprises, unexpected costs and incorrect invoices.

If you wish to interface to an accounting system, we can work with your IT department to write an interface for an electronic data transfer.  We also work closely with your IT department in the installation of the software.

An easy to use reporting system was developed to provide statistical, planning, projections and research about almost any aspect of your scheduling function.  Each report is a mini custom report writer, so you get the information you want exactly how you want it.

A major feature of the system is that you define tables that make AretéStaffTM unique to your hospital and your needs.  This system adjusts to your needs; you are note restricted by our rules.  During our initial assessment and collaboration, we assist with the table data development by making recommendations and illustrating the use of each table.
